The SAP PA-180 Coolant Pump is the largest coolant pump in the SAP product line, engineered for machine tools that require very high coolant volumes. It is particularly suitable for surface grinding machines, large lathes, milling machines, and glass processing machines, where smaller pumps like the PA-35 or PA-70 are insufficient.

Designed for heavy-duty industrial applications, the PA-180 is known for its robustness, durability, and long service life. It delivers a higher discharge head and greater liquid output compared to other SAP coolant pumps, making it ideal for demanding machining environments.

The PA-180 operates on three-phase power (with the option of single-phase in the PA-180M version) and complies with IP54 protection standards. The pump housing is manufactured from extruded aluminum or non-flammable, acid-resistant plastic that meets VDE 0730 and UL 94 standards. Its V-2A stainless steel shaft and NSK vibration-damped bearings ensure reliable, low-vibration performance and long operational life.

The pump is resistant to particle-laden coolant and chemical compounds commonly found in lubricants, ensuring reliable operation even in contaminated systems. With the ability to be throttled up to 80%, the PA-180 allows precise flow adjustment. Installation is simplified thanks to its Quick-Fit compatible inlet port.
