Car Seals
Car seals are simple locking devices (such as a steel cable strand or a plastic tie) used to “lock” (or seal) safety critical valves in a predetermined “safe position” (either “open”, “close” or an identified middle position).

Once applied to the valve, the valve cannot be operated. To remove the seal the cable must be cut with wire cutters, thereby destroying the seal.
Colors available: Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Black, Yellow/Gold
Size: 1000mm x 2.5mm as standard.

All car seals come with a unique serial number so that the valve they are fitted to can be identified in process management systems.

Seals have an Aluminium body with Galvanised Steel, multi-strand cable.

Car Seals are supplied in packs of 100 seals.

If you need a shorter cable, just cut the cable once it’s fitted on the valve.
