The Alkaline lifejacket light is SOLAS and MED approved and offers an alternative to the traditional lithium-powered light. Featuring the ability to run for more than 60 hours in ambient conditions, the new lifejacket light will also fit existing recessed receptacles and belt clips.
Daniamant presents a new range and concept of lifejacket lights. Daniamant's Alkaline range of battery technology meets and exceeds all the testing requirements of SOLAS and the Marine Equipment Directive, with the charge running for 60 hours, 52 hours more than the required 8 hours.

Daniamant's new, low-profile lifejacket light is a single compact flashing unit. The light activates automatically when immersed in water and will remain lit once water activated to allow for rescue scenarios involving an unconscious survivor. The light can be turned off manually if required by pressing the switch. The light is emitted through an ultra-low profile dome, making the light less susceptible to damage during evacuation.
