Lalizas Pilot Embarkation ladder
Lalizas pilot ladder is one type of rope ladder specially designed for the use of marine industry while embarking and disembarking pilots. It is consists of hardwood steps, spreader steps (Preventer Step), rubber steps, manila ropes, thimble spliced eyes and steps fixing pieces. Holding magnets are compulsory to keep the ladder lean against the ship's hull to prevent swinging. A wooden pilot ladder made in durable manila rope. Lower steps are fitted with rubber for increased grip and spreader for stability along the shipside. Standard complied: Solas 74 Convention as amended, Regulations V/23, X/3, IMO Resolution A.1045(27), IMO MSC/Circ. 1428, ISO 799-1: 2019, MED.5489 approved. 6kg per mitre.
