Unitor Descaling Liquid is designed for the efficient removal of scale and rust deposits from boilers, condensers, evaporators, heat exchangers, and cargo hold bulkheads. Its advanced formula combines hydrochloric acid with inhibitors and wetting agents, ensuring powerful descaling action while reducing the risk of corrosion on ferrous metals.

The product is approved by the Norwegian National Institute of Public Health for cleaning evaporators and meets MARPOL Annex V requirements, making it safe for marine environments.

• Application:

  • Removes cement, lime wash, and cargo residues from hold surfaces

  • Suitable for descaling boilers, evaporators, condensers, and heat exchangers

• Not Compatible With: Aluminium, zinc, tin, stainless steel, titanium, and galvanized surfaces.

• Usage Instructions:

  • Dilute 10–30% in fresh water depending on scaling level

  • Apply by circulation (large systems) or immersion soak (small components)

  • After descaling, rinse with a 0.5% Nalfleet™ Alkalinity Control solution to neutralize and passivate surfaces

  • Always add acid to water, never the reverse
