Usage Guidelines
Initial Dosage: Add 32 liters of NALFLEET™ 2000 per 1m³ of coolant to achieve a nitrite concentration of approximately 1,000 ppm.
Maintenance Dosage: Maintain nitrite levels between 700 and 1,500 ppm.
pH Range: Maintain pH between 8.3 and 10.0.
Testing: Regularly test nitrite levels using the WSS Motor Ship Test Kit (777066) to ensure proper treatment levels.
System Preparation
Flushing: Before application, flush the cooling system to remove all sludge and particulate matter.
Cleaning: If necessary, clean the system with an oil remover, such as UNITOR™ Commissioning Cleaner 624932, to remove oil and grease deposits.
Dosing: Introduce NALFLEET™ 2000 during circulation of the cooling water. It is best added by means of a feeder installed on a by-pass to the circulating system or, in smaller systems, it can be added directly to the header tank.
Safety and Handling
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear appropriate PPE, including gloves and eye protection, during handling.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from incompatible materials.
