Durable, biodegradable natural fibre rope made from abacá. Ideal for marine, decorative, and lifting uses. Available in various diameters and 100m lengths.
Manila Marine Rope – Hellog is a natural fibre rope made from the abacá plant, native to the Philippines. Known for its strength, grip, and classic nautical appearance, this rope is ideal for marine, construction, agricultural, and decorative use.
Hellog’s Manila rope is twisted 3-strand, abrasion-resistant, and naturally fire-retardant. It holds knots exceptionally well and offers excellent UV and salt water resistance, making it perfect for rigging, rope ladders, block and tackle, cargo nets, and more.
Although it absorbs water, causing it to shrink and stiffen when wet, it regains shape once dry—adding to its reliable performance. Its low stretch and excellent handling grip make it a preferred rope in marine and rustic aesthetic applications.
Treated with mineral oil for added durability, this rope has a natural golden-brown color and a coarse texture. Note that due to its organic nature, Manila rope is biodegradable, non-chemical resistant, and should not be used with corrosive substances.
